How to connect to Cipher VPN

This guide explains the connection steps. Sign in to your account for the current app catalog, downloads and your personal activation details.

Supported platforms: Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux, Android TV, Apple TV.

  1. Create an account or sign in

    Use the sign-in methods available on the sign-in page. Your account holds your subscription, balance and connected devices.

  2. Choose a subscription

    Open the subscription page to see current plans, prices, billing periods and device limits. Choose an available subscription option and top up your balance if needed. If activation is in progress, wait for it to finish before connecting.

  3. Choose your platform and client app

    Open the connection page and select your device platform. The page shows the client apps and instructions currently available for that platform.

  4. Install the selected app

    Follow the installation step for your selected app. Use the store or download link shown on the connection page; available downloads depend on the app and platform.

  5. Activate and connect

    Follow the activation instructions for your selected app. The Cipher app uses an activation key; third-party apps use your personal subscription link. Then follow the connection instructions in the app.

Keep your activation details private

Your activation key and subscription link belong to your account. Do not publish them or include them in screenshots shared publicly.

If you cannot connect

Check your subscription status and device limit in your account. Confirm that you selected the correct platform and followed the instructions for your chosen app. If instructions or activation details are unavailable, try again later or contact support.
